A balanced breakfast for on-the-run, or for those who aren't big eaters in the morning. It has milk, fruit and wholegrain cereal all in one package!
Place the milk and wheat biscuit into your blender and leave to soak for 5 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
Instead of Milo or Ovaltine, you could add 1 tsp of cocoa/cacao powder and increase the honey to 2 tsps.
You could add 2 tsps peanut butter to this smoothie for extra flavour, protein and good fats.
I like to add a handful of spinach leaves if I'm making this for myself, but this isn't a popular option with my kids so far!
For a grown-up version for breakfast on-the-run, try adding a tsp of instant coffee granules or a shot of espresso!
